Students Vs. Teachers
Generation Genius is Invictus Youth Initiative’s fun and interactive educational and cultural tool used to promote intergenerational dialogue by which students and teachers learn and share mutually.
In this friendly “face-off”, we test each generation’s knowledge about academic subjects: math, history/social studies, English/spelling, etc. and on popular culture: music, movies, fashion, slang and even the latest dance moves!
The debut of the Generation Genius game show took place at The Herman Schreiber elementary school in Canarsie, Brooklyn with third-, fourth-, and fifth-graders competing against their teachers on June 11, 2015. With lots of cheering and excitement the students prevailed and “schooled” their teachers! The winning team and other participants received tickets to an event at the Barclays Center.
